Our second years are very excited about being involved in CFES this year and the new opportunities that face them through this fantastic program. During College Awareness Week some of our students visited Trinity College Dublin. They brought along their cameras and captured the essence of Trinity College. While they were there some of them interviewed current students about the more lighthearted aspects of College life.
Random Acts of Kindness Week For CFES/TA21
As part of the CFES/ TA21 initiative, the second years are encouraged to organise something within their school community and bring it outwards to the greater community. They chose to organise Random Acts of Kindness week. This took place from the 19th-23rd February. During this week the second years organised a ‘random act’ for each day. The girls submitted kindness quotes to be read over the intercom. The also displayed beautiful posters around the school based on the idea of ‘take what you need’. On Tuesday morning the students received a kind, positive, encouraging quote in their locker. The second years also organised tea and biscuits for the elderly in our local social services center, tea and biscuits for our 6th years and spot prizes for students during class time. This event was funded by the second years also. Well done girls!
